Marc Jacobs is famous fashion designer which belongs to America. He is the owner of Marc Jacobs and opens his 200 retail stores across the 80 countries. He is considering as a creative and intelligent designer of America. Before start the Marc Jacobs, he work in French design house Louis Vuitton from 1997 to 2013 as a director. Marc is famous due to her wonderful personality, creativity and uniqueness. Jacobs was included in the list of most influential people in the world and was ranked 14 from the list of 100 people on Time magazines 2012. Now a day, Jacobs is a successful fashion designer in the world and he produces highly successful and affordable range of accessories, clothes and handbags.

Early Life History and Education

Marc was born in Jewish family on 9 April 1963 in New York City. Marc face ups and down in his life when his father was died at the age of seven and his mother remarried again and she is mentally ill. Then he went to live with his paternal grandmother on upper west side. His grandmother develops his personality and encourages his to develop an interest in fashion designing.
He attended the high school of Art and Design and then studied the parson’s school of design in New York City. Marc won different awards in school going age, He first wins the Perry Ellis Gold Thimble Award in 1987 and then he wins the Design Student of the Year Award. In 1991 he wins the award from Council of Fashion Designers of America.

How they start His Career?

At the age of 15, he started work as stock boy in defunct avant grade clothing boutique in New York City. Where he will design and sold his first line of hand knit sweaters, which gain much popularity from younger generation. After that, he will start work with Reuben Thomas Inc. and designed his first collection under the sketchbook label. Jacob’s make a partnership with Robert Duffy in 1980s, and formed a Jacobs Duffy Designs Inc.
After a partnership he designed his first collection in 1986 by Onward Kashiyama USA, Inc. And this collection was bearing the Marc Jacobs Label. He proved herself as a youngest designer to award the fashion industry’s highest tribute and win Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent. In 1988, Jacobs joined as a voice president and Duffy as a president in women design unit of Perry Ellis. In 1992 Jacobs win the Women’s Designer of The Year Award by Council of Fashion Designers of America. In 1992 he designed a “Grunge” collection of Perry Ellis which leading to his dismissal.
In the fall of 1993, “Jacobs Duffy Designs Inc” launched their own licensing company “Marc Jacobs International Company, L.P”. In 1994 he designed first mens wear collection. In 1997, he was pointed as a Louis Vuitton’s creative director where he created the ready-to-wear clothing line.
In spring 2001 he introduce his secondary line and in 2005 he made Marc by Marc Jacobs ready-to-wear license in japan with retail value of €50 million. In 2006 he started to make perfumes and in first order he made a new line of body splash fragrances in affordable huge ten ounce bottles which were distributed by Coty. Their perfume boutique is make much more popularity and gives highest earning.
In February 2008, he was designed a created Scarf and in 2010 he was started embroidered handbags. In October 2013, jacobs leave the Louis Vuitton and just focus his own line.
